In these difficult times, it is particularly important for bridal fashion stores to remain in contact with their customers. We would like to help you with our tips and make a small contribution towards weathering the crisis as unharmed as possible: 

A few personal words on the homepage

If you have a website, you should address your customers with a personal text, especially if your bridal fashion store is closed. Of course, the situation has dire financial consequences for you as a business owner, but bear in mind that bridal couples also currently have to put their wedding plans on hold. However, they will continue to look for information online. Offer additional services such as wedding checklists and schedules on your website, or compile accessory packages that can be ordered on the phone or online. How about a telephone consulting service? Now is the time for creative and unusual ideas.

Update your GoogleMyBusiness account

If you have a GoogleMyBusiness account, you should definitely update it. If your store is closed, change the opening times so customers don't travel to your store in vain. If you are nevertheless still offering services such as alterations or dry cleaning, you should explicitly point this out. Decorate your store window

It's no secret that your store window is one of the best advertising spaces available to you. Even though public life has almost ground to a halt in many countries, it is still your store's calling card and should be lovingly decorated. Again, you can include a few personal words aimed at potential customers.

Use your social media channels

Bridal couples go online, and now more than ever before. "Social distancing" has hugely increased the importance of social media. You should therefore increase your efforts in this respect; post photos of your products, especially on Instagram. Why not simply start a series with wedding planning tips? If you position yourself successfully as an expert on the social media channels now, you will also profit from this after the corona crisis. YouTube offers numerous instruction videos for those who have limited experience with social media.

Offer vouchers

Birthdays and anniversaries still go on, despite corona. As people can do only the most basic shopping at the moment, vouchers are becoming a popular alternative. So why not offer a voucher for a free consultation, a beautiful accessory or another product? Once you have received the payment, you can sent it in the post or online.
